Savannah Ellison (now Abney) and her family have been an instrumental part of my life individually and my marriage. Her daddy was the pastor that married my husband and I and my parents were influential in the early years of their marriage. To say that this couple has generations worth of Godly heritage would be an understatement. While I’ve known Savannah for much longer, it’s quite obvious in a very short amount of time just how equally matched Savannah and Caleb are. If the couple themselves are not evidence enough of God’s grace and work in the lives of believers, their bridal party, family, and even guests would second and third that point. I am so incredibly blessed to have been a small part of this incredibly special day. Savannah and Caleb, I pray that you guys experience blessing upon blessing and that you will learn to love and care for one another more and more every day. Love you guys!
I met Mary and Andrew at Forsyth Park in Savannah, Ga last Saturday. It could NOT have been a more beautiful day! Finally some crispness in the air (after highs in the 80s…ugh…it’s December) and the bright blue skies made for a perfect backdrop – as if Savannah needed any help in that area! We enjoyed the crisp, cool weather. The next time we are in Savannah together it will be much warmer!
This was just a family wedding for me! I loved getting to be such a special part of these two families becoming one. I have known Andrew and Brittany’s families for a little while now and have grown to love them so much! Andrew and Brittany are a sweet extension of that. Brittany was so laid back as was Andrew and they truly make a super sweet couple. I cannot wait to see what the Lord does with you two! Congratulations and I hope you love the photos as much as I do!
Meredith and Matthew were in a wedding I helped to photograph a few years back. From what I’ve heard Matthew was watching Meredith then. I’ve known Matthew for quite some time and have loved his gentle spirit and caring nature from the very beginning. On a sunny October day I began to watch Matthew’s gentleness and care unfold before my very eyes as he married his bride, Meredith. (Who I might add is one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever seen.) Meredith’s love for the Lord shines so brightly through her smile and demeanor. She and Matthew light up a room as soon as they enter. Matthew and Meredith, let me say thank you so much for allowing me to play such a special part in one of the biggest days of each of your lives. I am truly honored and blessed that you trusted me with the responsibility. I hope each of you love the photos here and I can’t wait for you to see them all!
^ This photo may be my favorite from the day. Meredith’s father walked out of the double doors and when he saw his little girl the tears were flowing… (FROM ME TOO!)
They’re back again! I got a chance to take Wyatt’s 3 month photos and get some of the whole family this round! He is growing so fast and so big! Love him and love yall! Enjoy the preview!!!
About a month ago I had the incredible opportunity to photograph the birth of little baby Greyson Beard. His mama, Ashley, was such a trooper. I would be lying if I said I didn’t shed a tear or two…I did. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of this special moment in your lives!

Wyatt Wayne made his appearance on May 26th and surprised us all! He came with a whirlwind of crazy but how could we blame him for wanting to share his preciousness with the world. I am beside myself thankful and grateful for Mandi and Matthew allowing me to be a part of some of these first memories! Wyatt is incredibly beautiful and 100% perfect in every way! Thank again for including me guys! I can’t wait for our next session!!
Christina Abreu contacted me after looking at Solomon’s daughter’s photos a little while back (Check them out here). She recently gave birth to a beautiful little girl named Carmen. Carmen is a spunky little princess with a lot of personality already! She talked to us, cooed, and grinned all throughout the session. I hope you enjoy the photos Christina! Carmen was such a joy to photograph!
Last week I got the pleasure of spending some time with the Naudé family. They were so fun to be around and I truly enjoyed photographing their family. Hannah and Devyn, I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them for you guys!
