Chelsey and Asa spent some time with me in historic, downtown Savannah recently. They are so sweet together! A match for sure! I couldn’t get enough of Asa picking on Chelsey though I truly think we were both getting on her nerves. But, Chelsey – you are so beautiful when he’s picking on you! What a joyful life you guys will make together! 🙂 I hope you enjoy these!
I met Traci a while back at a networking event leading up to a bridal show we were both to attend in February. She is the director at the BRAND NEW wedding venue in Brooklet, Georgia called Snellings Manor. The venue is a gorgeous, red brick plantation-style home surrounded by a white picket fence with mature trees lining the driveway. After speaking to Traci again at the bridal show, we made the decision to host a styled session there on April 1st.
We partnered with several vendors that made the day so much more beautiful than I could’ve imagined. If you are EVER in need of a venue, hair stylist, makeup artist or florist you HAVE to check these vendors out!

Thank you to Adam and Catherine Groover as well as Amanda Lawler and Zac Ecv Moore for taking the time to model for us! You guys were so fun!
Take a look at the final product below! Can you believe the gorgeousness!?!
Austin reached out to me a couple weeks ago because he was planning to propose to Agnes at Sweetheart Circle on Georgia Southern University’s campus. We met up this past week and he was grinning from ear to ear. I had only met him and had not even met Agnes but was so excited for both of them just because of the excitement I could see on Austin’s face!
Since they both live in Savannah, Austin told Agnes that he wanted to take her to a Georgia Southern Baseball game on Sunday afternoon. Before the game he took her for a walk around campus and ended at Sweetheart Circle where we had placed a brand new baseball with the question “Marry me?” penned on the underside of the ball. When they walked up the path on Sweetheart Circle he pointed out the baseball on the side, walked over to it, got on one knee and gave it to her. She was SO surprised. It was truly a sweet moment for the two of them and we got the whole process on camera! Take a look at their sweet engagement:
I met Mary and Andrew at Forsyth Park in Savannah, Ga last Saturday. It could NOT have been a more beautiful day! Finally some crispness in the air (after highs in the 80s…ugh…it’s December) and the bright blue skies made for a perfect backdrop – as if Savannah needed any help in that area! We enjoyed the crisp, cool weather. The next time we are in Savannah together it will be much warmer!
This was just a family wedding for me! I loved getting to be such a special part of these two families becoming one. I have known Andrew and Brittany’s families for a little while now and have grown to love them so much! Andrew and Brittany are a sweet extension of that. Brittany was so laid back as was Andrew and they truly make a super sweet couple. I cannot wait to see what the Lord does with you two! Congratulations and I hope you love the photos as much as I do!
Meredith and Matthew were in a wedding I helped to photograph a few years back. From what I’ve heard Matthew was watching Meredith then. I’ve known Matthew for quite some time and have loved his gentle spirit and caring nature from the very beginning. On a sunny October day I began to watch Matthew’s gentleness and care unfold before my very eyes as he married his bride, Meredith. (Who I might add is one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever seen.) Meredith’s love for the Lord shines so brightly through her smile and demeanor. She and Matthew light up a room as soon as they enter. Matthew and Meredith, let me say thank you so much for allowing me to play such a special part in one of the biggest days of each of your lives. I am truly honored and blessed that you trusted me with the responsibility. I hope each of you love the photos here and I can’t wait for you to see them all!
^ This photo may be my favorite from the day. Meredith’s father walked out of the double doors and when he saw his little girl the tears were flowing… (FROM ME TOO!)
