Karen was in for a VERY big surprise yesterday. Pete had been planning for a while and commissioned his good friend, Jeremiah (who you’ll see in one of the last photos) to help him pull of his surprise engagement to Karen. He planned to go on a walk with Karen and their RATHER LARGE but super sweet dog Atlas at Cullen Park in the heart of Ballantyne Corporate Park. Little did she know that when she rounded the corner to cross the bridge over the beautiful pond, she’d find yellow flowers, a sentimental symbol, that Pete had placed there for her to find. It said, “I’ll love you until the last one dies.” (It would be important for you to know that one of the yellow flowers was not real. 😉 ) He proposed and of course she said yes! Congratulations Pete and Karen! I’m so happy I got to be a part of this special event in your lives!
