Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist Wedding – Savannah, Ga

Cara and Nick were married on June 10, 2023 at the gorgeous Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist in historic downtown, Savannah, Ga. Cara was so specific in the details of her day. Everywhere you looked there was a piece of coastal charm that drew your eye. Her earrings shone with the same lustre of the inside of an oyster and her shoes were topped with gorgeous tulle bows. She had the most gorgeous custom details like the hand-painted champagne bottle showcasing their beautiful venue, a hand painted oyster-shell that cradled her and her fiance’s wedding rings for photos, and her bouquet was something you’d find in the magnolia-feature centerfold of Southern Home Magazine.

When it came to the party, Cara and Nick busted through the entry into a room full of their closest friends. They danced the night away and by the end of it, I couldn’t tell if the band were their old time friends or new ones!

Southern weddings in Savannah, Georgia can be simple and elegant, but the new Mr. and Mrs. Iannone made the day that but even more. They created a day so special for all involved and I’m so thankful to have played a small part in it with them! Cheers to the Iannones!
